The speaker is none other than Anil Bokil, a social activist. A mechanical engineer by profession, he is the founder of Pune-based ArthaKranti Sansthan, a group that advocates various financial reforms in India. He has propounded the concept of Artha Kranti – an economic solution designed to end corruption operations in India with specific focus on black money.
Anil Bokil is the man and his team at ArthaKrantti said to have given Prime Minister, Narendra Modi the idea of demonetization. But, Anil Bokil subsequently said: ‘This Is not what we suggested’. Anil Bokil and team suggested the demonetization move to curb black money, but, he has slammed the implementation of the policy.
Though it is never claimed, but It is widely known and propagated that the recent decision to Demonetize the higher denomination currency by Government of India was one among the several proposals made by ArthaKranti to Prime Minister Narendra Modi informed Chartered Accountant, Govind Daliya, who is the President of JCI Banjara Hyderabad.
Though, a media shy person, Anil Bokil is always in the news for his radical reforms and advocacies. He has recommended several other financial and tax reforms to the Indian Government for a corrupt free nation. The ArthaKranti has a panel with qualified Chartered Accountants and Engineers volunteering their services for this cause informed Geetesh Kate, President of JCI Hyderabad Trendz.
Anil Bokil is an engineer by profession, has been working for and propagating cashless transactions for the past 20 years.
